An actor who campaigned for toilets is now for sanitary pads. His other trendsetter low budget concepts were for middle-class families like Airlift, Rustom, Jolly LLB 2, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
PadMan is a biographical drama on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins manufacturing machine.
His upcoming films Gold, Mogul, and Kesri have more or similar concepts that attract middle classes and also set the box office on fire.
