Google doodle for father of DNA HG Khorana

In its best traditions, the Google has put forth yet another doodle to honor noted scientists Har Gobind Khorana known for his work in the field of DNA and for constructing the first artificial gene.

The Google has launched a doodle on the 96th anniversary of the Indian-American scientist who passed away in 2011.

Khorana was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine along with Robert W. Holley and Marshall W. Nirenberg for “their interpretation of the genetic code and its function in protein synthesis” in 1968.
