Another painful incident came to light. No parent should experience such pathetic situation. A father who came to pay college fees has to see her daughter in the death pool. This tragic incident took place in Hyderabad.

Shravya (16 years) second daughter of Pabbu Venkatesam hailing from Valigonda village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District was studying in Narayana Junior College, Nagole Branch near Bandlaguda. She was studying Bi.PC first year.

Sravya visited Valigonda on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on Saturday. Sravya’s father Venkatesam brought her back to college to pay college fees. She left her father at the fee counter and went to her room. In few minutes, an ambulance rushed to Narayana College premises. Along with all others, Venkatesam also rushed to see a young girl being taken on a stretcher. To his shock of his life, it was his daughter’s body. It is told that she hanged herself in her room. By the time ambulance reached the hospital, she was declared as brought dead.

Venkatesam is left under deep shock to find her brilliant and active daughter on death bed. This tragic incident took all inmates of the college into deep sorrow. All her fellow classmates are unable to digest this incident. Venkatesam blames that excess pressure in the college has led to her daughter’s death.

Investigations are on to ascertain the actual reason of death. Corporate colleges need to seriously look into such issues and take care of personal care of each ward, especially ones those residing far away from home.

Student Unions are demanding stringent action on college administration.
