A number of kidney problems have been reported in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.In this backdrop, the AP government has taken a key decision. It has decided to set up a research center in Palasa to find a solution to the kidney problem. It has also decided to build a government hospital with a capacity of 200 beds in Palasa.
The state government has issued orders today. The research center and dialysis unit will be attached to the hospital. AP government has decided to allocate Rs 50 crore for this purpose. In addition to regular employees, 98 vacancies on contract basis and 60 vacancies on outsourcing will be filled.
