Yet another shock for Congress leader and former minister Chidambaram in the INX media case. He has now gone into hiding after the Delhi High Court refused to grant him bail to Chidambaram. Chidambaram has issued lookout notices to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on leaving the country.
The issuance of these notices prevents the immigration authorities from going to the airport at the airport. Chidambaram has been accused of corruption and money laundering in connection with the INX media scam.
During his tenure as finance minister in 2007, Chidambaram allegedly allowed foreign investments in the INX media, contrary to the rules, and alleged that the CBI and ED had alleged that had had received compensation.
