Russia banned from 2018 Olympics @ Pyeongchang

Russia has been banned from the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics for manipulation of the anti-doping system and unbridled dope use by its aesthetes.

The ban has come after the IOC found fool proof evidence of an “unprecedented systematic manipulation” of the anti-doping system that has led to a series of suspensions for the Russian athletes in recent months.

Though the IOC found enough evidence in the past it did not impose a blanket ban like now during the Rio -2016 Olympics . But the evidence unearthed by the Schmid Commission made the doping situation impossible to dispute, says the IOC .

However, to protect “innocent athletes” Russians athletes with dope free record have been allowed to compete as an “Olympic Athlete of Russia”, as long as they satisfy strict conditions that show they have a doping-free background.
