American Athlete Tori Bowie is the winner of Women 100 metres race at 16th IAAF London World Athletics Championships 2017 in London.
At a sensational race, Tori Bowie (US) clinched the title World Championship just at the last leap with the least margin of .01 seconds against her closest contender Marie-Josee Ta Lou (Ivory Coast) who finished off at 10.86 seconds.
Bowie completed 100 metres in 10.85 seconds and won Gold Medal. Its shocking to note that Olympic Gold winner Elaine Thompson could just finish off with 5th place.
The decision was quite sensational as Bowie leg didn’t cross the finish line but her head crossed whereas Marie Jossie’s leg has crossed the line.
In Mens Final event American athlete Justine Gatlin gave shock to Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt and grabbed Gold Medal. It was the final race of the career of Usain Bolt in which he has to be reduced to third spot.
