భారీ వర్షాలు, వరదలు భాగ్యనగరం హైదరాబాద్‌ను అతలాకుతలం చేశాయి. గడిచిన వందేళ్లలో ఎన్నడూ లేనంత వర్షపాతం నమోదవడంతో హైదరాబాద్ చిగురుటాకులా వణికిపోయింది. ముఖ్యంగా పాతనగరం అల్లకల్లోలంగా మారింది. నాలాలు పొంగి పొర్లడం, చెరువులకు గండ్లు పడటంతో ఇళ్లలోకి భారీగా వరద నీరు చేరి ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులకు గురవుతున్నారు. తిండీతిప్పలు లేక అవస్థలు పడుతున్నారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో హైదరాబాద్ వరద బాధితులను ఆదుకోవడం కోసం టాలీవుడ్ ఇండస్ట్రీ ముందుకొచ్చింది. తెలంగాణ ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి కేసీఆర్ త‌క్ష‌ణ సాయం కింద రూ. 550 కోట్లు విడుద‌ల చేశారు. బాధితుల‌ని ఆదుకునేందుకు ప‌‌లువురు ముందుకు రావాల‌ని కేసీఆర్ కోర‌గా, తెలుగు ఫిలిం ఇండస్ట్రీ నుండి చిరంజీవి కోటి రూపాయ‌లు, మ‌హేష్ బాబు రూ.కోటి రూపాయ‌లు, నాగార్జున రూ. 50 ల‌క్ష‌లు, ఎన్టీఆర్ రూ. 50 ల‌క్ష‌లు, విజ‌య్ దేవ‌ర‌కొండ రూ.10 ల‌క్ష‌లు, హ‌రీష్ శంక‌ర్, అనీల్ రావిపూడి చెరో రూ. 5 ల‌క్ష‌లు విరాళం అందజేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించారు.
