Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited West Bengal and launched several development projects. During his speech, he strongly criticised the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government. He said the state government has failed to deliver good governance and that corruption is stopping welfare benefits from reaching poor people. PM Modi said Bengal now needs change and a government that truly works for the people.
The Prime Minister accused the TMC government of blocking central welfare schemes, especially the Ayushman Bharat health scheme. He said poor families in Bengal are being denied free healthcare and other benefits because of the state government’s attitude. PM Modi also alleged that TMC leaders are misusing money sent by the Centre for the poor. He said every poor family in Bengal should get permanent houses, free ration, and all central welfare schemes, and added that it is time to say goodbye to the TMC government.
