Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is all set to make his debut as a lead actor with the pan-India film Yellamma, presented by star producer Dil Raju. Directed by Balagam fame Venu Yeldandi, the film is produced by Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. After winning a National Award for his debut film, Venu returns with a powerful story that is deeply rooted in culture, tradition, and spirituality. Apart from playing the main role, DSP is also composing the music, making this project extra special.
Set in a mystical and divine backdrop, Yellamma draws inspiration from folklore and native beliefs. The first glimpse, released on Makara Sankranthi, impressed audiences with its strong visuals and spiritual tone. DSP appears in a rugged new avatar as Parshi, with long hair and intense screen presence. The use of natural elements like neem leaves, rain, drums, and divine symbolism adds depth to the visuals, while DSP’s powerful background score enhances the impact. The film is planned for a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
